Registered Massage Therapy in Osoyoos
Every massage starts with a short conversation about what is bothering you, any injuries or health conditions, and how much pressure you like. Your therapist checks in during the session and adjusts as they go.
Our team includes registered massage therapists Katherina (Kathy) Thomson and Denis Martel and massage clinician Jacinda Nieman. Between them they offer Swedish and relaxation massage, therapeutic and deep tissue work, myofascial release and craniosacral therapy.

What Our Osoyoos Clients Say
Osoyoos Massage Therapy FAQs
Do I need a doctor’s referral for massage therapy in Osoyoos?
No. You can book a massage online or by calling 250-495-2225. Some extended health plans ask for a doctor’s note before they reimburse RMT visits, so check your plan if you are not sure.
Is massage therapy covered by insurance?
Most extended health plans cover registered massage therapy, and we direct bill many of them. ICBC and WorkSafeBC may cover massage after a car accident or work injury. Coverage depends on the therapist’s registration, so ask our front desk if you are booking with our massage clinician.
What happens at my first massage appointment?
You fill out a short health history, then your therapist asks about your goals, problem areas and preferred pressure. You undress to your comfort level and stay covered with a sheet, except for the area being worked on.
Will a deep tissue massage hurt?
Deep work can feel intense at times, but it should not be painful. Tell your therapist if the pressure is too much and they will adjust right away.
How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your goals. For an injury, your therapist may suggest a few sessions close together. For everyday tension and stress, many clients come every few weeks.
Do you see clients from outside Osoyoos?
Yes. Clients come to us from Osoyoos, Oliver, Cawston, Rock Creek and across the South Okanagan, plus visitors and seasonal residents.
